Beer booming across the globe
Celia Johnson
Beer consumption is outpacing that of other alcoholic beverages in Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRIC), according to a series of new reports from leading beverage industry analysts Canadean.
The 2007 Beer Service Annual Reports from Canadean state that between 2002 and 2007, total beer consumption across the four countries increased by almost 50%.
BRIC’s population size and thriving economies have been labelled as key factors driving beer growth.
