AT a time when consumers are being urged by The National Health and Medical Research Council to increase calcium intake, gourmet dairy snacks and premium dairy desserts are all the rage.

The finalists for this year’s FOOD Magazine Dairy Award have found innovative ways to appeal to consumers looking for an extra daily serve of dairy.

Products of deli quality made with fresh ingredients are appealing to the higher end of the dairy market, and proving to be very popular with the health conscious consumer.
