High resolution industrial ink jet coder series

Dy-Mark Identification Solutions have recently announced that the United Barcode Systems (UBS) APLINK series high resolution industrial ink jet coder series is now available in Australasia.

According to Dy-Mark Identification Solutions national sales manager, Mark Luft, the UBS APLINK series can print high-speed high-resolution text, graphics and barcodes in real-time directly on to porous surfaces.

“The APLINK series has been specifically designed for companies who are looking to print variable images and data on to secondary packaging in real-time productions environments,” Luft said.

“It is adaptable and can quickly and easily be integrated in to multiple production lines. Quick installation, minimal maintenance and 99.99% readability ensures that the range is the ideal solution for many industrial environments in Australia,” he said.

Due to the high-quality print heads the APLINK series can print up to 70 mm. height prints with high resolution messages and is capable of printing in top and side at up to 30 metres per minute.

APLINK series features include:

        • UBSLabel CS – developed for barcode and label design, this easy-to-use system is multilingual. The software permits line parameter configuration and orientation. 

        • LABMAN – this optional software allows management and control and access to all marking and identification systems within the production environment.

        • APLINK MR – with a touch screen display the APLINK MR is a PC card and internal hard-drive that allows storage and access to all barcodes, variable image, data and graphics. 

        • APLINK HP – integrating any production environment, the APLINK HP is capable of controlling inkjet coding operations simultaneously.

“With the option of solvent or oil-based printers available in the series the APLINK range has been developed to suit all harsh industrial requirements,” Luft said.
