Mars Snackfood
US food company Mars, Inc is best known for its Mars Bar chocolate bar. Its other confectionery brands include Snickers, M&M’s, Milky Way, Maltesers and Twix.
Mars products are sold in over 100 countries worldwide.
It also owns the Uncle Ben’s food brand and several pet food brands, including Pedigree, Whiskas, Cesar and Sheba.
The privately-owned company has a direct presence in 65 countries, and its products are sold in well over 100. It is an US$18bn business.
Mars operates its three core businesses – snackfood, petcare and main meal food – under the Masterfoods name in most parts of the world.
