Mortadella with a difference

Unique use of ingredients and method of manufacture has made Pistachio Mortadella, produced by Balzanelli Smallgoods, a finalist in the FOOD Magazine Challenge Awards.

The use of pistachio gives the mortadella a point of difference from traditional mortadellas and their variants, such as chilli and olive.

No binders are used in the manufacture of Balzanelli Pistachio Mortadella and the product is gluten free.

Traditional manufacturing processes ensure the authenticity of the meat’s texture, smell and flavour, setting it apart from mass produced mortadella that combines many flavours, starters and water to achieve the highest yields.
