The Food Challenge Awards recognise and rewards excellence in Australia's food and drink processing industries, and acknowledges industry leaders in their drive to 'best practice' food and drink processing.

The categories for the 2010 Food Challenge Awards are as follows:

  • Confectionery
  • Dairy
  • Health and Wellness
  • Meat and Smallgoods
  • Non-Alcoholic Beverages
  • Pet Food
  • Ready Meals
  • Snack Foods
  • Soups and Prepared Foods
  • Sustainable Manufacturing
     
  • Best of the Best

Each category will be awarded with a Highly Commended trophy and a
Winner 's trophy. The Best of the Best Trophy will be presented at the end of the Awards presentation dinner to the winner that best demonstrated outstanding innovation and excellence above all the category winners.
