The New Zealand Commerce Commission has cleared Coca Cola Amatil (NZ) to acquire cordial manufacturing and marketing business Baker Halls from Old Fashioned Foods.
Commission chairwoman Paula Rebstock said it was satisfied that the acquisition would not be likely to substantially lessen competition in any of the relevant markets.
After the acquisition, Coca Cola Amatil would continue to be constrained by existing competition, she said.
