FSAA recognises outstanding achievement in food service

The food service industry recently celebrated its night of accolades at the Foodservice Suppliers Association of Australia (FSAA) Awards of Excellence with over 370 guests at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne.

The FSAA Awards of Excellence, held on 6th September 2022, recognised outstanding distributors, suppliers, and innovators in the food service industry.

Additionally, the inaugural Chairperson’s Honour Award this year recognised the unsung heroes who went above and beyond in the last 12 months that have adversely impacted the food service industry.

The Distributor Awards acknowledge distributor leadership and overall excellence within the food service industry. Suppliers vote across six criteria including communication, manufacturer cooperation, staff and site professionalism, administration, end-user relationships and marketing commitment.

The Supplier of the Year awards for food, beverage, tabletop/packaging and equipment are voted upon by food and grocery distributors across five criteria including communication, business cooperation, staff professionalism, administration and marketing commitment.

The Innovation Awards recognise companies that are shaping the industry through innovation in culinary products. An independent judging panel of chefs are tasked with choosing the most innovative product for this category.

The winners of the 2022 FSAA Awards of Excellence are listed below:
