ALDI claims Supermarket of the Year again

Supermarket of the Year

ALDI Australia has been named Supermarket of the Year 2024 for the fifth consecutive year in Roy Morgan’s Customer Satisfaction Awards.

Having claimed this title a total of eight times, ALDI received an average customer satisfaction score of 88.8 per cent. Group director of ALDI Australia, Simon Padovani-Ginies, said the award reflects ALDI’s commitment to prioritising customer needs.

“We are thrilled to once again be named Australia’s Best Supermarket by Roy Morgan, for the fifth consecutive year,” said Padovani-Ginies.

“This achievement reflects ALDI’s ongoing commitment to delivering great quality products at everyday low prices that our customers can rely on.”

Customer satisfaction ratings are measured from an annual survey of 60,000 Australians and span 40 categories across multiple industries. The organisation with the highest number of top monthly satisfaction ratings over the past 12 months is awarded each year.

“As well as delivering a dependably high level of customer satisfaction to millions of Australians ALDI is also recognised by Roy Morgan as one of Australia’s top five most trusted brands – a position ALDI has held consistently over the last five years despite the challenges faced by the sector in an era of high inflation and rising interest rates,” said Roy Morgan CEO Michele Levine.

In addition to the ‘Supermarket of the Year’ award, ALDI has previously won ‘Mobile Phone Service Provider of the Year’ and ‘Liquor Store of the Year’.

“Of course, award wins like this are only possible because of the dedication and hard work of our incredible team and valued Australian business partners, who help us deliver our Good Different shopping experience to our customers every single day,” said Padovani-Ginies.

ALDI has won ‘Supermarket of the Year’ in 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2016, 2014, and 2012.
