ALDI Australia has again been awarded as Australia’s number one supermarket in Canstar Blue’s Supermarket Satisfaction Ratings for the sixth consecutive year.
All of Australia’s major supermarket chains went head-to-head for Canstar Blue’s Supermarket Satisfaction Ratings for 2023, with ALDI finally taking the number one spot for the sixth year running.
Canstar Blue judged supermarkets based on criteria, such as value for money, customer satisfaction, and quality of produce and products. ALDI was the only supermarket to score five stars in “overall satisfaction” for the past five years.
ALDI also scored five stars for ‘value for money’, ‘freshness of produce’, ‘quality of private label products’ and ‘availability of deals and specials.’ It also got the gong for being awarded five-stars in six Supermarket categories this year.
ALDI Australia group director, Simon Padovani-Ginies, says ALDI is proud to have maintained its leadership and satisfaction for customers.

Canstar Blue editor-in-chief Christine Seib said value for money is the number one priority for Australian families right now.

ALDI also improved its customer service score to four stars this year, up from three stars in 2022.
