Dairy Farmers has created a cure for hunger pains experienced by on-the-go Aussies who are often too busy to sit down to a meal.
Packaged in a convenient sipper cup format that fits in car cup holders, Rise is a real fruit and dairy smoothie.
According to Dairy Farmers general manager for marketing and innovation, John Wardley, Rise represents an all day snacking solution, which consumer research indicates would be consumed most frequently for breakfast or mid morning and mid afternoon, during typical energy drop-off times.
“It’s a portable, cutlery-free, healthy mini-meal, that can be consumed anytime, anywhere,” Wardley said.
“Rise is designed for busy young men and women who juggle work, study, family and social lives and don’t have time to sit down for a meal, but still want to eat healthily and maintain energy levels.
“It’s a meal for multi-taskers who often resort to desktop dining or skipping meals altogether.”
Made using Dairy Farmers’ milk, sourced from farms across the country, Rise comes in three flavours — Mango, Banana and Honey, and Berry Tropical.
Containing protein, calcium and 10 essential nutrients to sustain energy levels, Rise is 99% fat free and low GI.
Having just hit shelves in supermarkets and route and convenience stores Australia-wide, Rise will signal Dairy Farmers biggest new product launch since its Thick & Creamy yogurts were introduced to market last year. Rise will be made at Dairy Farmers’ Wetherill Park Facility in Sydney on a new, state-of-the-art production line.
“Rise is the culmination of years of research and development and is an exciting new dairy innovation for the market — representing a genuine ‘cross-over’ between a dairy beverage and a yogurt product,” Wardley concluded.
