APPMA chairman named operations GM at Matthews Australasia

Mark Dingley is the new general manager of operations at product identification company, Matthews Australasia.

Over his 18 years with the company, Matthews has climbed the ranks, working in various roles in different departments including customer service, marketing, product management and software product development.

Dingley also spearheaded the development of iDSnet, an award winning software used by manufacturing organisations across the country. According to Matthews representative, Sam Schelling, the software automates the coding process and gives a central control point with a single interface.

"It removes human error and ensures the correct code is always placed on the correct product at the correct time – leading to higher productivity plus credibility in the supply chain," she said.

Speaking on his new role, Dingley said, "I have thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my career so far and am looking forward to taking on the GM’s role for operations. I highly value working with Matthews — the company's technological depth, combined with its culture and values, makes it very rewarding.

"My strengths are in management, project management and business development, and I'll keep using these skills to further develop the company as we continue to support and improve the efficiency of Australian manufacturing businesses and their supply chains with market-leading intelligent identification solutions," he said.
