Asurequality opens in Singapore

NEW Zealand Government state-owned enterprise, AsureQuality, has opened a new office and laboratory in Singapore.

AsureQuality Singapore will support the customer base growth in the Asia and Middle East region. As part of the expansion, a 5000 square feet laboratory facility will be opened, which will offer both food chemistry and microbiology testing with an emphasis on dairy nutritional testing.

Udit Singh, group manager laboratories and diagnostics said AsureQuality has been working in Singapore and the region for many years at both regulatory and industry levels.

“Establishing a laboratory in the area was the next logical step. This allows us to maintain and develop our customer base and improve our service delivery through quicker sample turn-around times,” Singh said.

The site is expected to be open for business next month.
