With 50 per cent of exhibition stands now sold for the largest biennial packaging, processing and plastics machinery and materials exhibition; AUSPACK PLUS is gearing up to be the ‘must-attend’ event for March 2011.
According to Rob Keen, event director, exhibitions & trade fairs (ETF), long-term exhibitors like Fibre King, Heat and Control, Fallsdell, FlexLink Systems, Perfect Packaging and DFC Packaging Group have already booked their stands for the 2011 exhibition.
“AUSPACK PLUS has always been an important show for Heat and Control and with the shows new format, in terms of incorporating processing, plastics and other ancillary products and services, we look forward to a wider audience attending the show,” said Robert Marguccio, Australian packaging manager for Heat and Control.
Heat and Control plan to showcase high speed cartoning technology from Langen, along with Ishida’s high speed tray sealer at AUSPACK PLUS. Inspection systems are paramount in today’s food industry, and leading the pack will be the Ceia MS 21 metal detector, along with Ishida’s X-ray technology.
FlexLink Systems have also booked their stand for 2011 following successful exhibitions in 2007 and 2009.
“We look forward to bringing to our customers our comprehensive range of conveyor systems including our new X45 and Stainless steel solutions, software, line control and pallet systems during AUSPACK PLUS,” Peter Hutchings, managing director, FlexLink Systems, said.
Dominik Dobaj, director of Perfect Packaging also added that they pleased be exhibiting the company’s range of packaging machinery at next year’s AUSPACK PLUS, including its rotary pouch filling & sealing machine.
AUSPACK PLUS is owned and presented by the Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA), Australia’s only national packaging and processing machinery organisation.
AUSPACK PLUS will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 22 to 25 March 2011.
