Global packaging company, TricorBraun, has announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire Cormack Packaging, an Australian family-owned packaging supplier. This will establish the company’s footprint in the region.
The transaction is expected to close later this month.
Serving customers with rigid packaging needs for more than 80 years and spanning three generations, Cormack Packaging primarily serves the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, industrial and household cleaning industries.

All the Australian company’s team members, including managing director Mathew Cormack and the company’s executive team, will remain with TricorBraun. The team will continue to work out of the company’s existing locations across Australia and New Zealand. Effective with the closing of the transaction, Cormack Packaging will operate as “Cormack Packaging, a TricorBraun company.”

Since it was founded, TricorBraun has partnered with management teams to successfully acquire and accelerate growth for more than 25 packaging companies. Cormack Packaging marks TricorBraun’s third acquisition this year.
