Baldor rates high on worldwide companies list

Managing Director of Baldor Australia, Daniel Vera, has congratulated the company in receiving a high ranking on the InformationWeek list of top 500 companies in the world.

“We are proud that Baldor has achieved the ranking of 144th in the World, beating out companies that included: Dell, Earnest and Young, Southwest Airlines, Motorola, Emerson, National Oilwell Varco, Owens Corning, AIT, Ford Motor Company, Geico, Graybar Electric, Microsoft and Regal Beloit to name a few.

“In the manufacturing category, Baldor was deservedly ranked 7th in the World behind Aerojet General, Alliance One International, Lockheed Martin, Eaton Corporation, The Standard Register, and Deere and Company.

“At Baldor, we have always believed that we had a world-class information system and it is nice to be recognised and confirmed by an independent group.

To be ranked in the InformationWeek 500, companies with revenue of $250 million or more must complete a rigorous application on their technology strategies. The process includes quantitative and qualitative assessments of business tech innovation.
