Chocolate manufacturer Barry Callebaut has introduced the world’s first 100 per cent dairy-free alternative to the milk chocolate market.
According to Barry Callebaut, the newly formulated dairy-free chocolate range offers the same colour and smooth taste of milk chocolate, however consists of no milk ingredients.
The company has made the move to cater for customers suffering from milk allergies or who are lactose intolerant. Vegans and vegetarians will also be able to enjoy the new range.
Barry Callebaut has partnered with Celtic Chocolates of Ireland to develop and deliver the dairy-free chocolate alternative.
