Brisbane welcomes International Cake Show

Brisbane will be home to the world’s leading edible cake artists and decorators for the 2024 International Cake Show Australia, this weekend.

As Australia’s huge cake and cookie decorating, baking and sugar art show there will be a collection of edible art gallery cakes, demonstrations and activities.

Held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, there will be be over 100 free demonstrations, celebrity chefs and sugar heroes, sugar features, hands-on workshops, classes to suit every experience level, Australia’s largest cake and cookie decorating competition pop up shops and more.

Cake stars attending the event will be traveling from across the country and the globe.

Most activities except the paid classes, are free with the ticket entry and children 12 and under are free.

Visitors can expect to visit the 3 metre high bumble bee transformer cake, immerse yourself in the 3m x 3m edible rainforest, enter the ultimate Australian cake and cookie decorating competition, plus much more.
