Coles launch winter savings to help ease the cost of living

Coles is attempting to provide value to customers through the winter months by lowering the price of hundreds of essentials in-store and online to help Aussies save.  

Customers can save on pantry staples and roasting meats perfect for the cooler weather with more than 200 products across the store lowered to a Down Down for at least 12 weeks.

Items that have been lowered include:

  • Coles Australian No Added Hormones Beef Blade Roast is now down to $13/kg from $15/kg or Coles.’
  • Award-Winning Australian Pork Belly Roast Boneless down to $16/kg from $19/kg.
  • Coles Australian-Grown Whitewashed potatoes down to $4 from $7.50 for a 2kg bag.
  • Coles RSPCA Approved Chicken Mince 500g is down to $5.50 from $6.50
  • Coles RSPCA Approved Chicken Breast Mince 500g is down to $6.50 from $7.00
  • Coles Australian Pork BBQ Ribs now at the lower price of $17/kg down from $20/kg.
  • Coles Finest By Laurent White Sourdough Vienna down to $6.50 from $7.
  • Heinz Big’N Chunky Soup 535g varieties down to $3 from $4.40.

Customers can also take advantage of great value specials until Tuesday 25 June including family favourites Coles Australian No Added Hormones 3 Star Beef Mince 1kg on special for $9 was $11 and Coles RSPCA Approved Chicken Drumsticks Large Pack, on special for just $3.50/kg was $4.50/kg.

Coles Chief Commercial Officer, Anna Croft said Coles is doubling down on value.

“We’re committed to providing value across the products we know our customers love to buy and cook with through the winter months.

“Cold evenings call for hearty meals and we’re lowering the cost of roast dinners with savings on roasting meats and our Australian-grown potatoes – all down in price over the next three months to help stretch budgets further,” said Croft.

Down Down products will be lowered in price for the next three months, starting Wednesday 29 May.
