The mini CORI-FLOW series by Bronkhorst are precise and compact mass flow meters and controllers based on the Coriolis measuring principle.
Designed for the low flow market, the range includes three models covering flow rates from 5 g/h to 30 kg/h (full scale values). Each model offers “multi-range” functionality, allowing factory-calibrated ranges to be rescaled by the user while maintaining original accuracy specifications. This flexibility helps reduce the number of instruments required and lowers the overall cost of ownership.
Each instrument is housed in a robust IP65 weatherproof casing, with optional ATEX approval available for use in Zone 2 hazardous areas.
Superior Coriolis flow sensor
The mini CORI-FLOW instruments feature a uniquely shaped, single-loop sensor tube forming part of an oscillating system. As fluid flows through the tube, Coriolis forces cause a measurable phase shift that is detected by sensors and processed by the integrated circuit board.
The resulting output signal is directly proportional to the true mass flow rate. Coriolis mass flow measurement is fast, accurate, and inherently bi-directional. The mini CORI-FLOW also provides density and temperature as secondary outputs.
Application on liquids
The mini CORI-FLOW can be used with most liquid types. The mass flow meters are fully metal sealed, and the controllers feature a high-performance elastomeric valve seat made from Kalrez.
High accuracy
Coriolis flow meters offer excellent accuracy. When used for liquids, the mass flow accuracy is better than ±0.2 per cent Rd.
Fields of application
The mini CORI-FLOW instruments can be used for both gases and liquids in process fluid measurement or control systems. Typical applications include semiconductor processing, fuel cell technology, food, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as analytical installations and liquid dosing systems for microreactors, among others.
