Criniti’s takes food safety to the next level

Criniti’s Restaurants have selected CCP’s industry-leading technology to bring its food safety to the next level. CCP uses a network of wireless sensors to monitor refrigeration temperature and automate record keeping for food safety compliance. Using low-cost Internet of Things (IoT) technology, refrigerators, freezers and cool room temperatures are effectively monitored 24/7.

According to John McFadden, group executive chef at Criniti’s, CCP offers a clear value proposition.

“I am thrilled to have used CCP technology in a previous role, without this cutting-edge technology we could have lost thousands of dollars of food. It’s a great return on investment. I’m currently introducing CCP’s automated continuous temperature monitoring across Criniti’s to strengthen food safety and reduce business risk,” McFadden said.

“In the food industry, refrigeration systems are mission critical,” said Michael White, executive director and CEO. “With ambitious plans to expand, Criniti’s has taken an important step to ensuring the quality and safety of its food to its customers regardless of location. With CCP’s wireless sensors installed, staff are now immediately alerted by email/SMS if refrigeration temperature tolerances are breached. This can make a huge difference to both the end result for customers but also to the bottom-line when it comes to avoiding food spoilage.”
