The Grasselli model AB 520 DD pork Derinder and Defatter automatically derinds and defats to pre-selected fat depth, boneless pork loins, backs, bellies and shoulder meat for efficient fat depth and yield control. Infeed and outfeed conveyors are height adjustable for linking a second unit or in-line system installation. Full 520mm derinding width.

The AB 520 DD is operated and controlled by electronics, electrics and pneumatic combined in one system.

Electronics control pre-selection of fat depth whilst electrics provide motive power. Pneumatics give infinitely variable control over product hold down pressure. Incorporating quick height adjustment enabling a range of products to be derinded on one unit with minimal down time. Electric and pneumatically activated toothroll enables easy rind pick up with extended blade life. Electric and pneumatic systems are linked to provide full safety.

Non toxic rubber rollers gently but firmly position product during the derind/defat process and are available in different versions to suit various applications. Complete roller assemblies can be changed in minutes. The AB 520 DD is constructed of totally stainless materials plus, the design features efficient, hygienic quick strip-down.
