DoorDash partners with Drakes in SA and QLD to deepen grocery options

Locals across South Australia and Queensland can now use the DoorDash app to order an array of groceries from Drakes Supermarkets, the largest independent grocery retailer in Australia.

To celebrate the availability of Drakes in the DoorDash app, new customers of the local grocer will receive a 30 per cent discount on orders over $50 (max discount $20) from 19 July.

“We’re thrilled to bring Drakes to DoorDash, offering our customers in South Australia and Queensland easy access to their favourite groceries. Say goodbye to long grocery lines and hello to saving time,” said general manager of DoorDash Australia.

With 46 Drakes stores live on the platform in South Australia and Queensland, hundreds of thousands of people from these regions will now be able to order a range of fresh produce, bakery and deli items, pantry essentials and household items through the DoorDash app.

“We are proud to partner with DoorDash to bring our last mile services to customers, making it more convenient to get groceries to their door whenever they need,” said John-Paul Drake, Director at Drakes.

Building on partnerships with Coles and IGA, as well as other local grocery heroes like Yuen’s Brisbane, this collaboration with Drakes marks a significant milestone for DoorDash.

Already serving over 1 million customers across Australia with grocery delivery, DoorDash is now positioned to give even more Aussies accessible and efficient shopping solutions.
