FoodTech Qld is returning to the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre from 19–20 June 2025, bringing together professionals from the food and beverage manufacturing and processing industry. The event showcases the latest advancements in food production, processing, packaging, and technology, offering industry leaders the chance to explore critical challenges and innovative solutions.
Conference Highlights
Running alongside the free exhibition, the two-day conference program features sessions and panel discussions on key topics including technological advancements in food manufacturing, digital transformation and evolving consumer trends.
Notable speakers include Professor Jason Stokes from The University of Queensland, who will deliver the keynote address on “Shaping the Future of Food Manufacturing in Australia,” exploring how emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and precision fermentation are transforming the sector.
Other sessions will delve into food safety innovations, sustainable packaging solutions, and the future of functional foods, featuring experts from organisations such as v2food, CSIRO, Australasian Institute of Packaging (AIP), Neogen, and the Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology (AIFST).
Exhibition and Networking Opportunities
The exhibition floor will host over 140 suppliers showcasing cutting-edge solutions in food science, manufacturing software, packaging machinery, and processing equipment.
Networking events include a Welcome Party on 18 June at The Star’s Isoletto Privé and the Punch Bowl networking party on 19 June at QT Surfers Paradise’s Stingray Lounge, providing informal settings for professionals to connect and collaborate.
