Entries for the 10th annual Food Magazine Awards are closing shortly. Don’t miss out on the chance to have your latest innovation recognised by peers in the food and beverage manufacturing industry.
Manufacturers who have launched a product in Australia and/or New Zealand between March 2012 and March 2014 are eligible to enter the awards, which will be held in Sydney on 8 August.
The awards, now in their 10th year, are judged on the use of innovative ingredients, processing techniques, packaging and/or sustainability features by a panel of respected industry professionals, including new judges for 2014, SPC marketing and innovation director, Bronwyn Powell, and director of Beechworth Honey, Jodie Goldsworthy.
With entries closing on 1 April, there are 13 categories to consider:

• Ready Meals
• Baked Goods
• Snack Foods
• Packaging Design
• Sustainable Manufacturing
• Food-safety and Innovation in Non-Food
• Health and Wellness
• Organics
• Prepared Foods
• Ingredients Innovation
• Meat and Smallgoods
A Best of the Best will also be named on the night.
Ian Harrison, chief executive of the Australian Made campaign, has been confirmed as the guest speaker for this year’s awards, and the event will also comprise a Product Showcase, where finalists will be able to show off the product(s) they’ve submitted.
