A fire at a fish processing plant in NSW has been blazing since 6.30am, with about 500 people being evacuated from the surrounding area.
The plant, which is used for processing and storing fish products, caught fire this morning and has caused several walls and roofs to collapse.
Based near the Nullica State Forest, in Eden, fire fighters and police have set up a 400-meter exclusion zone around the plant, after a leak of ammonia gas from refrigeration units. Police have also cordoned off the Princes Highway, closing it in both directions.
No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is yet unknown.
