Flying Fish Cove to represent Margaret River for Epoch

WA winery, Flying Fish Cove is to represent the newly-formed Epoch Wine Group in the Margaret River region as a part of the group’s growing portfolio of premium wine brands.

Under the new distribution model, Flying Fish Cove will be represented as a brand within Epoch and will also become an equity partner with a vested interest in securing sales opportunities nationally.

Flying Fish managing director, Brett House, believes that Epoch’s distribution model will bring valuable growth opportunities for the brand.

“We at Flying Fish are keen to become involved in the distribution business and not only work on the growth of our brand, but build on the strength of Epoch over the years to come,” he said.

Epoch Wine Group CEO, Sam Mete, said the addition of Flying Fish to the Epoch portfolio will complement its key brands.

“We are delighted to have Flying Fish Cove on board from the premium Margaret River Region,” he said. “Their commitment to quality and range of classic Margaret River varietals is the perfect complement to our stable of brands.”

Established in 2000 in Wilyabrup, Flying Fish has demonstrated success in its contemporary Offshore Range, traditionally crafted sparkling and Wildberry Reserve Range.

The Epoch Wine Group was formed in April this year in partnership with Cumulus Estates Wines from Orange and the Berardo Group of Portugal, and will commence national distribution of Flying Fish Cove from 1 May, 2013.
