For Enzo’s Cucina in Camden, NSW, LPG is one of the foundation stones of a thriving kitchen and a growing business. Supagas’s reliable service and responsive team ensure the burners stay lit and the pizzas keep coming.
Running a bustling restaurant is as much about reliability as it is about great food. At Enzo’s Cucina in Camden, owner Joseph Maruzza knows exactly how important that balance is.
“We host a range of events and à la carte dining – with up to 25 staff on at any one time, and accommodating functions of up to 200 people,” he said. “Our business relies heavily on LPG gas. Without it, our business doesn’t run. We need it.”
For Maruzza, the relationship with Supagas is about more than supply – it’s about partnership.
“Supagas has been great over the years,” he said. “If I need something, I call them on the spot. It’s pretty much fixed up straight away. Whatever I need, they’re here to help.”
That kind of responsiveness is what the company’s field sales manager Michael Cirillo says defines the Supagas difference.
“At Supagas, that ‘Yes We Can’ motto is truly what we live for,” he said. “It’s never a no – it’s how we can come to a solution.”
Reliable service, real relationships
The relationship between the two is one built on trust and understanding.
“Michael’s knowledge at Supagas is second to none,” said Maruzza. “He knows exactly what we need at Enzo’s. So that’s why, when I call him, they’re very quick to react.”
“The customer sees us as a trusted partner because it’s not just about price,” said Cirillo. “It really is about reliability.”
That reliability extends from Camden to kitchens and cafés right across regional Australia. LPG remains a dependable energy source for hospitality operators outside the natural gas grid. For Enzo’s Cucina, it’s not just for cooking – it’s for business growth.
Powering more than the kitchen
Inside the restaurant, Supagas supplies LPG for cooking and CO₂ for the bar, where crowd favourites Peroni and Asahi pour fresh from the taps. Recently, the team added a mobile food truck to their operations – serving focaccias, breakfast and coffee from 6:30 a.m.
“We run the truck off two 45-kilogram bottles,” said Maruzza. “For our business, LPG is cost-effective, especially with electricity prices rising. It works really well for us.”
Smart systems behind the scenes
Behind the reliable supply is a smart delivery network that ensures businesses like Enzo’s Cucina always have the gas they need, when they need it.
“We have the infrastructure, we have the people, and we have the systems in place to ensure that gas is delivered on time, every time,” said Cirillo.
That includes Supagas’s new automated monitoring system, which keeps tabs on tank levels remotely.
“We go through roughly 1500 litres a week,” said Maruzza. “They can tell when my gas tank is running low or if I need a top-up, and they determine when to come and when not to.”
For Cirillo, that kind of dependability is the unsung ingredient behind many successful venues.
“No one thinks about gas unless they don’t have any,” he said. “And then it’s their number-one priority.”
A partnership built on trust
From Enzo’s perspective, Supagas has delivered on every promise.
“From my experience, nothing’s been a problem,” said Maruzza. “Whatever they can do to help, they do. It’s all been great on my end.”
For Michael, a big part of the satisfaction he and the Supagas team get every day is from knowing they play a vital role in keeping businesses like Enzo’s running.
“That’s what we aspire to as a people-first, service-oriented team,” said Cirillo.
