Grill’d introduces new Mexican-inspired burgers ahead of Cinco de Mayo

Get ready for a fiesta in your mouth! Grill’d is shaking things up by adding two new Mexican-inspired burgers to its menu saying Si to flavour this Cinco de Mayo.

Cinco de Mayo, meaning ‘Fifth of May’, is an annual celebration of Mexican heritage and Grill’d is joining the festivities with its new vegetarian Zesty Mexi burger and wagyu patty Luxe Nacho burger.

The Zesty Mexi burger, also available to ‘Make it Vegan’, packs a crunchy punch, featuring a Mexican black bean patty, green tomatillo, lime salsa, and corn chips, while the Luxe Nacho burger is made with 100 per cent Australian pasture raised, grain finished Wagyu beef, corn chips, and a chipotle mayo.

With the tangy, tantalising flavours of green tomatillo and lime for a unique salsa twist, and the added texture of corn chips between the buns, burger lovers are in for a Mexican-inspired treat.

“We know Mexican cuisine is a huge crowd favourite in Australia, so we are pleased to bring not one, but two new Mexican inspired burgers to our restaurants,” said Ben Goss, chief marketing officer at Grill’d.

“As well as the new salsa and textural addition of corn chips, the Mexican black bean pattie is a new ingredient for our menu, providing our vegetarian, vegan and flexitarian customers a tasty new protein option. Treating is not cheating with these healthy burgers.

“They’re packed full of flavour and are sure to take your taste buds straight to Mexico.”

Grill’d is committed to using high-quality, fresh ingredients and incorporating ecologically sustainable sources of protein in the growing Grill’d menu.

By introducing these new Mexican-inspired flavours, Grill’d hopes to continue its mission of creating healthy, delicious burgers customers can feel good about.

The new burgers are available now at Grill’d locations nationwide, with Relish members invited to try the new Zesty Mexi or Luxe Nacho burgers exclusively with a $5 discount between May 9 and May 21. To learn more, visit www.grilld.com.au.
