The world’s renowned Irish stout brand, Guinness, has announced the launch of a limited-edition range of branded Thermals to celebrate the arrival of Guinness season.
The limited-edition winter garments are designed to help Aussies stay warm while keeping their stout chilled. Featuring a pattern as a nod to the iconic Guinness Harp, the Thermals are made from 100 per cent merino wool to keep punters warm at the pub this winter.
As the perfect winter brew, Guinness is best enjoyed when the temperature drops. To help Guinness drinkers make the most of the colder months, Guinness has launched The Brewery of Meteorology, a weather platform designed to alert beer lovers of the ideal Guinness-drinking conditions.
The Brewery of Meteorology platform will provide an up-to-date weather ‘pourcast’ using live weather data and is geo-targeted so Aussie drinkers know when the weather in their area is perfect for a winter pint.
Guinness has appointed Australia’s favourite Irish expat, Colin Fassnidge, as Meteorologist for the platform. Colin has commented on his excitement about the limited-edition thermals as the ultimate winter accessory.
“As the weather gets cooler, there’s nothing better than rugging up and enjoying a Guinness. I’ll be keeping an eye on the temperature this winter, and when it drops I hope to see plenty of Guinness fans donning their Guinness thermals and heading to a cosy pub to enjoy a pint,” Fassnidge said.
Guinness lovers can visit here for a chance to win a pair of Thermals.
For the month of June, The Brewery of Meteorology platform is offering a winter promotion, where Aussies in VIC and NSW for a chance to claim a free pint of Guinness whenever the temperature drops to below 9 degrees Celsius for ideal consumption conditions.
