Hack attack after a chicken flap

A Brisbane fast food restaurant almost found itself footing a $67, 000 chicken bill, after a disgruntled ex employee remotely ordered $67,000.

A heated argument with his Red Rooster boss, led a the 23-year old computer hacker to quit his job and seek revenge by remotely accessing the business’ stock-order system and placing $67,732.73 worth of chicken.

The alarm was raised when a suppler contacted the west Brisbane Red Rooster restaurant to query the unusually large order.
