Harvest Gourmet has announced a collaboration with Lord of the Fries to feature their new plant-based schnitzels on the newest seasonal menu of the plant-based fast food joint.
From August to October 2022, Lord of the Fries will offer three new Harvest Gourmet plant-based schnitzel creations across stores across Australia. The three schnitzels were created to celebrate World Schnitzel Day on 9th September and surrounding months.
August featured the Katsu Sando – which includes a crispy, juicy Harvest Gourmet Plant-Based Schnitzel, pickled slaw, mayo and Tonkatsu sauce sandwiched between soft pillowy milky bread.
September features the Schnitzel Spicy Crunch Burger – made with Harvest Gourmet Plant-Based Schnitzel, pickled slaw, cheese and spicy mayo for some heat.
October will feature the Schnitzel BLT – the classic BLT with the Harvest Gourmet Plant-Based Schnitzel, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo and tomato sauce in a nine-inch seeded sub.
Nestlé Professional Oceania general manager Scott Stuckmann said, “We are excited to bring a classic Aussie menu item, the schnitzel, to plant-based menus with the creative team behind Lord of the Fries. This builds on our experience providing Australians with tasty plant-based food alternatives.”
Executive director at Lord of the Fries Arie Nudel commented, “All three menu items were created to hero the delicious Plant-Based Schnitzel while boasting the Lord of the Fries flair for innovative, on-trend creations. We are thrilled to collaborate with Harvest Gourmet, known for its high quality, tasty plant-based alternatives.”
