Heat and Control brings coffee solutions to MICE 2026

Heat and Control

Heat and Control will showcase its latest coffee and tea processing, packaging, and inspection solutions at the Melbourne International Coffee Exhibition (MICE) 2026, highlighting technologies designed to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and protect product quality across the coffee supply chain.

Returning to MICE following its debut at the show last year, the company will highlight solutions tailored for whole bean, ground coffee, and tea applications, supporting processors with scalable systems that provide accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Portfolio and industry partnerships

Currently celebrating its 75th anniversary, Heat and Control supports food manufacturers through well-known brands including FastBack, Spray Dynamics, Ishida, CEIA, and Urschel.

At MICE, the company will bring a range of solutions for coffee industry, including their size reduction equipment from Urschel. These systems achieve highly controlled, uniform particle sizes for roasted coffee beans and tea leaves — supporting consistent grind profiles, improved flavour, higher yield, with efficiency and uniformity across batches.

Beyond flavour optimisation, Heat and Control will demonstrate how its integrated packaging and inspection systems can help protect coffee product integrity, while reducing giveaway and unnecessary waste – optimising production across a wide range of coffee applications.

“Our solutions are reliable, scalable, and engineered to deliver long-term value for coffee processors of all sizes,” said Heat and Control’s business manager – packaging and inspection solutions, Robert Marguccio.

Heat and Control’s broad portfolio includes processing, conveying, weighing, packaging, inspection, and coating and flavouring technologies, available as standalone equipment or as fully integrated, end-to-end systems aligned to individual production needs.

Combining technology expertise with local capability, the business is supported by a Brisbane-based manufacturing facility, more than 270 staff across Australia, and a national service network of more than 15 technicians – ensuring reliable, locally based support for Australian coffee processors.
