As the festive season approaches, new research by meal kit delivery service HelloFresh, reveals how Australians are really feeling about entertaining at home this year with one quarter (24 per cent) saying planning a festive meal is the most stressful part of the season.
As the cost of living crisis continues to impact Australians, nearly half (41 per cent) admit to spending more money on food over the holiday period than at any other time of the year. Data from Roy Morgan also reveals that spending on food is projected to increase by 2.4 per cent this Christmas season, mainly due to supply input increases. While 26 per cent of Australians wish they didn’t have to go grocery shopping over the Christmas period.
