With weeks to go before the doors open at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, foodpro 2026 is preparing to bring together the Australian food and beverage manufacturing industry from 26 to 29 July.
The four day event is expected to feature more than 400 exhibitors and attract more than 9,000 attendees from sectors including processing, packaging, food science, digital manufacturing, sustainability and supply chain management across Australia and the region.
Foodpro is a large scale processing and packaging trade event held in Australia in 2026, contributing to strong exhibitor interest and visitor registrations.
Exhibitors across the manufacturing supply chain
The exhibitor line-up spans processing and packaging equipment, ingredients, food science, digital manufacturing systems, infrastructure and beverage technology.
Companies exhibiting include Vemag, Multivac, Marel Australia, Heat and Control, Endress & Hauser Australia, Atlas Copco and FOSS Pacific.
In food science and testing, exhibitors include Thermo Fisher Scientific Australia, Eurofins Food Testing Australia and bioMérieux Australia. The University of Melbourne’s Food Sector team will also participate.
The ingredients and additives area includes Brenntag Australia alongside functional ingredient suppliers.
Digital and automation exhibitors include Atturra, CSB-System Australia and Foods Connected, reflecting increasing industry investment in Industry 4.0 technologies.
Infrastructure and beverage technology providers including GEA Australia, Combilift, Grundfos and Evoguard will also be represented.
Innovation Stage returns
The Innovation Stage will return with presentations from industry representatives, technology suppliers and researchers across the four day event. The sessions are open to registered visitors.
Topics will include automation, AI based quality inspection, sustainable packaging, supply chain resilience, alternative proteins and regulatory developments affecting food manufacturing.
Industry Connect Evening
The Industry Connect Evening will take place on 26 July at Melbourne Public following the opening day of foodpro.
The event will provide exhibitors and visitors with an opportunity to network in an informal setting. Tickets are currently available, with early bird pricing running until 28 June.
Co-located events and training
The AIFST26 Conference will run alongside foodpro on 27 and 28 July, bringing together food science professionals, researchers, regulators and industry representatives to discuss research, regulation and formulation challenges.
The Australasian Institute of Packaging will also deliver training courses and seminars throughout the event, covering packaging innovation, sustainability and regulatory compliance.
The PIDA Awards Gala Dinner will be held on 28 July alongside foodpro, recognising packaging design across Australia and New Zealand and serving as an entry pathway to the WorldStar Packaging Awards.
Attendance at foodpro is free for industry professionals.
