Bronkhorst combines gas flow, pressure and temperature control in one instrument with its integrated gas flow meter and controller FLEXI FLOW Compact.
The Bronkhorst FLEXI FLOW Compact is an integrated gas flow meter and controller that combines gas flow measurement and control, pressure measurement and control, and temperature measurement in a single compact instrument. Designed for installations where space is limited, the system reduces the number of separate components required while providing real time process data.
Developed for gas applications, the instrument uses a thermal measurement principle and is suitable for a range of applications including desktop bioreactors, analytical equipment and fuel cell production. An onboard database containing 22 gases allows automatic conversion based on actual process conditions, helping maintain measurement accuracy across different operating environments.
The FLEXI FLOW Compact is available with flow ranges up to 0 to 500 ln/min and pressure ranges up to 0 to 16 bar(g). It offers flow accuracy of up to ±0.5 per cent of reading plus ±0.1 per cent of full scale, while pressure accuracy is rated at ±0.5 per cent of full scale. The instrument also provides repeatability of better than ±0.2 per cent of reading, operates in temperatures from 0°C to 50°C, and features an IP40 protection rating.
