Interface manufactures thousands of standard force measurement products each year. All standard products are designed by engineering experts and built and tested by the company’s experienced force measurement team. For more than 50 years, Interface has identified common requests for force measurement solutions and made them available through a large catalogue of devices and systems, which can be ordered through its account engineers and distributors.
Interface standard products
Interface load cells: The company manufactures more than 60 types of load cells in a range of shapes, sizes and capacities, from 1 lbf (500 gf) to 2 million lbf (9,000 kN). The range includes options such as pancake and donut load cells, as well as LowProfile and thru-hole models.
Interface mini load cells: These provide accurate measurements comparable to full size load cells and use proprietary alloy strain gauges. Capacities range from 0.11 lbf (0.5 N) to 100 kN.
Load buttons: Interface supplies compression and precision based load buttons in various sizes and capacities, including miniature and subminiature designs. These models offer resistance and durability suited to small spaces and high frequency use.
AxialTQ: This torque measurement device offers a rotor sensing element and electronics in eight torque capacities and five DIN sizes, with three accuracy classes labelled EX, LX and HX. Stator and output module mounting options allow a wide range of configurations.
Wireless Telemetry System: The WTS includes sensor transmitters, receivers, displays, accessories and monitoring software operating on a standard 2.4 GHz signal. It works with torque transducers, load pins, load cells, multi axis sensors and other inputs, and can communicate wirelessly with displays, handheld readers, analogue outputs, relay modules and computer interfaces.
Torque transducers: Interface produces more than 50 types of reaction and rotary torque transducers, each precision machined and fitted with proprietary torque sensors.
Multi axis sensors: The company’s three axis, six axis and axial torsion load cells are designed to support torque measurement applications. The three axis sensors measure forces in three perpendicular axes, while the six axis models measure torque around those axes.
Load pins, tension links and shackles: Interface load pins offer capacities from 220 lbf to three million lbf. Tension links are designed for lifting and weighing in harsh environments, with capacities from 11K lbf to 220.4K lbf. Standard shackles in various sizes provide accurate measurement of lighter products.
Calibration systems: Interface calibration systems support both rigid and portable applications and can also be customised. The GS SYS Gold Standard Calibration System includes a four post rigid load frame, load feedback loop, signal conditioning hardware and automated calibration software. Portable versions are also available.
Instrumentation: Interface supplies a range of instrumentation including signal conditioners, output modules, high speed data loggers, portable load cell indicators, weight indicators and junction boxes, as well as data acquisition systems and wireless telemetry systems.
