Keeping it local

The second annual Australian Made Conference is fast approaching and will once again aim to lift the profile of the manufacturing in Australia and recognise those who are striving for innovation in the industry.

The one-day conference is set in Sydney this year and has received strong support from the Industry Capability Network; The Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research; Australian Made Campaign; and the Society of Australian Industry and Employment.

The practical one-day seminar on how to build a successful manufacturing future in Australia will be held on Tuesday November 18, from 9.30am to 5pm (one-hour cocktail function following), at Dockside Conference Centre, Darling Harbour, Sydney.

The conference will feature 10 in-depth sessions hosted by industry leaders on topics relevant to both small and large manufacturing companies across all sectors. The event is designed to be both practical and entertaining, with Australian debating champions taking on industry leaders in the second annual Australian Made debate, and drinks served after the event.

Who should attend?

Anyone involved in Australia’s manufacturing industry, whether in the automotive, aerospace, electronics, defence, metals fabrication, custom engineering, process engineering or original equipment manufacturing sectors.

The early bird rate for this dynamic one-day conference has been extended to the end of October so don’t miss out!

Early bird rate $99 (until 31 October 2008), thereafter $175 per person.
