Lark names Distiller of the Year

Tasmania’s Lark Distillery has been named Australian Distiller of the Year in Whisky Magazine’s Icons of Whisky Australia 2021 awards.

The annual awards recognise the people, places and products that complete the whole dynamic of the whisky industry.

Commenting on the accolade, Lark founder and global ambassador Bill Lark said: “It is a great honour for Lark Distillery to take home such a prestigious accolade from our industry peers.

To be named Australian Distiller of the Year means the world to myself and my wife Lyn and our entire team who have worked tirelessly over the past 29 years to deliver a world-class product and raise awareness of Australian whisky here and around the world.”
