New MAGGI recipe range Your Meal Your Way Recipe Bases has been created for Australians shifting towards a flexitarian diet.
This range was created in response to 2019 “Hungry for Plant-Based: Australian Consumer Insights” research report from Food Frontier and Life Health Foods, showing that one in three Australians want to consciously limit their meat consumption and balance their weekly meal preferences.
With an interest in simple, tasty vegetarian and meat-free meal alternatives on the rise, MAGGI’s vegetarian friendly Your Meal Your Way Recipe Bases will provide flexible cooking options and allow families with varied meal preferences to eat dinner together.
Using natural ingredients and a blend of herbs and spices, the recipe bases include classic meal favourites such as cottage pie and spaghetti bolognese and familiar flavours such as chow mein and chilli con carne.
Each recipe base supplies four servings and is made to be customised with meat, vegetables or both.
“The MAGGI team understand the interest in meat-free alternatives continues to grow and recognises that Australians are increasingly conscious of their food choices, particularly when cooking at home,” Nestlé Head of Marketing Foods Nicole Fox said.
“MAGGI Your Meal Your Way Recipe Bases offer more choice to create flavoursome and authentic meals that bring the family together, giving home cooks the flexibility to enjoy the best of both.”
The range are also designed to take the stress and time pressure out of weekly dinner planning and preparation, so that Australians can combine fresh food with easy-to-follow recipes which suit the evolving tastes of the household.
MAGGI Your Meal Your Way Recipes Bases are available at Coles, Woolworths and independent supermarkets across Australia for $1.69 per pack. The packs can be recycled through REDcycle bins in participating supermarkets.
