‘Matchmake’ to bring AUSPACK visitors, exhibitors closer together

Australia’s biggest packaging and processing show, AUSPACK, has launched its Matchmake  service.

The service connects visitors with exhibitors before the show. The service allows visitors to pre-arrange meeting with exhibitors to discuss products or machinery at their convenience.

To use the service, visitors simply have to register, be granted access by the AUSPACK rego supplier, Lüp, and login into their profiles before setting up meetings with suppliers.

The service is also available through the event show app, visitors just have to login after registering.

Global and local robotics and automation experts will also present advancements in robotic technology and intelligent automation across processing and packaging at the show.

HMPS (exhibiting on Stand 69) managing director Mark Emmett said that robots can now complete a variety of tasks from simple to complex.

“There is a shortage of labour for repetitive tasks. Robots do an amazing job at doing the same task over and over with complete accuracy. We are finding even smaller producers have a need for automation. We are able to offer from very basic to very complex, customised solutions,” Emmett said.
