Meat and Livestock Australia director resigns

Christine Giblertson has resigned from her position as director of Meat and Livestock Australia.

Gilbertson, who was due to retire from the board at this year’s AGM, recently took up a full time executive position based in Melbourne, The Weekly Times reports.

“I have enjoyed my time on the board of MLA and wish the board and recently appointed managing director, Richard Norton, every success,” she said.

Chair of the MLA, Michele Allan said that Gilbertson’s made significant contributions to the company during her time as director.

“Christine has been an excellent director and brought a level of rigour and professionalism to the role that the company has benefited greatly from,” Dr Allan said. “We wish her well in her new executive role and thank her for efforts on behalf of MLA,” Dr Allan said.
