Moët Hennessy Australia New Zealand appoints new marketing director

Moët Hennessy Australia New Zealand has announced a key appointment to its leadership team.

Nausicaa Charrier has joined as Moët Hennessy’s new marketing director. Having worked for the last 18 years in global and local roles within the FMCG and luxury sectors across Europe, the US and Asia, Nausicaa has a rich history of transforming brands.

She has led business turnarounds at Marie and Moët Hennessy Diageo in France, a brand reset while leading global consumer marketing for Belvedere Vodka in New York, and an accelerated value creation strategy for Moët Hennessy in Asia.

During Nausicaa’s most recent tenure as marketing director of Moët Hennessy Singapore and Malaysia, she revamped strategic planning across the brand portfolio, building initiatives that contributed to record market shares and a lasting impact on the brands’ consumer perception in the region.

In her new role, Nausicaa leads the marketing strategies for 18 prestigious brands across the region, spearheading high-impact initiatives to drive consumer engagement and brand growth.

Her overarching mission at Moët Hennessy Australia and New Zealand is to enhance consumer connections with its  global brands such as Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Dom Pérignon, Hennessy, Krug and Glenmorangie, and locally crafted brands Chandon and Cloudy Bay.

“I am excited to join Moët Hennessy Australia New Zealand and deeply honoured to lead such an exceptional portfolio of iconic brands,” said Nausicaa.

“I look forward to working alongside the talented team to enhance our brands’ desirability by building meaningful connections and memorable experiences for both our consumers and partners.”

“We are thrilled to have Nausicaa join our team. With Nausicaa at the helm, we will continue to lead our market segments, and to drive innovation and creativity in the region,” added Ashley Powell, managing director of Moët Hennessy Australia and New Zealand.

“Nausicaa’s extensive experience across multiple markets and Maisons will be invaluable as we continue to grow our brands, delight our consumers and drive value for our business and partners.”
