Nutritional Growth Solutions launches range in Chemist Warehouse China

Nutritional Growth Solutions, a global children’s nutrition company, has signed a supply agreement with Chemist Warehouse, a Chinese subsidiary of Australia’s largest pharmacy retailer. 

The agreement will commence immediately and there are no conditions to be met prior to its commencement. The agreement is for a twelve-month period and can be terminated by either party by providing one month notice in writing. 

The non-exclusive supply agreement will see Nutritional Growth Solutions’ patented Healthy Height shake range on shelves in Chemist Warehouse stores in China. It will also be available in the Chemist Warehouse China T-Mall Global store – one of the largest pharmacy stores currently on the platform. 

The supply contract is a direct result of the commercial director for China appointment in July 2021 and is a key milestone in the company’s expansion strategy in China. 

“We are excited to embark on this new partnership with Chemist Warehouse China and launching the Healthy Height shake range across its high performing physical and online stores in China,” Nutritional Growth Solutions CEO and managing director Liron Fendell said. 

“The Chemist Warehouse brand is starting to cement itself as a leading pharmacy retailer in China, especially online through T-Mall Global where it has broken numerous sales records since its launch in 2015. 

“Whilst the agreement does not contain minimum order sizes and the company cannot provide a revenue projection at this stage, this agreement represents a significant achievement for the company as an important distribution channel into China.” 

The agreement places Nutritional Growth Solutions ahead of schedule for its medium-term expansion plans, according to Fendell. 

“Now with a physical presence through a big-name stockist, a secured trademark to protect our brand, a production partner in New Zealand to manufacture, license, package and assist commercialisation in the Asia Pacific, and a newly appointed commercial director who is already making headways in the region,” Fendell said. 

“I look forward to growing Healthy Height into a household name in China and providing access to high quality, nutritional products that are clinically proven to support children in developing into the person they are meant to be.”
