Premier Fresh named Woolworths Trade Partner of the Year

Fresh fruit and vegetable supplier Premier Fresh has been named Woolworths Trade Partner of the Year.

Eleven awards were presented by Woolworths in Sydney to well-known suppliers as well as emerging brand with Premier Fresh took home the title of Trade Partner of the Year.

“Woolworths works with thousands of trade partners each and every day to provide close to 30,000 products for our customers,” said Annette Karantoni managing director – Woolworths Retail.

“Our annual Trade Partner of the Year awards are about recognising the very best, and choosing our winners from dozens of nominees is never easy.

“The Premier Fresh team is consistently delivering exceptional fruit and veg for our customers to enjoy all year-round, while setting the standard for the very best farming practices and strongly focused on ensuring a sustainable future in fresh produce.

Other supply partners recognised included Unilever, Queensland-based egg producer Sunny Queen Farms and Victoria-based confectioner Funday Natural Sweets. Sunny Queen Farms has been recognised as another exceptional partner in the chilled, bakery and deli category.

Woolworths’ 2025 Supplier of the Year Awards recognised partners are:

  • Overall Trade Partner of the Year – Premier Fresh.
  • Chilled, Bakery and Deli Trade Partner of the Year – Sunny Queen Farms.
  • Fruit & Veg Trade Partner of the Year: Premier Fresh.
  • New Product Launch of the Year (2) – Solo Energy, Gelato Messina.
  • Own Brand Trade Partner of the Year – Simplot.
  • Protein Trade Partner of the Year – Ingham’s.
  • Large Grocery Trade Partner of the Year – Unilever.
  • Small Grocery Trade Partner of the Year – Funday.
  • Merchandising Team of the Year – Lindt & Sprungli.
  • Account Manager of the Year – Ross Bryant, Delroy Orchards.
  • Woolworths Category Manager of the Year – Nic Hines (Fruit – Mango, Avocado, Banana).
