National food and storage packaging manufacturer Pro-Pac has acquired void fill business Space Pac.
It announced the move today, stating that the acquisition of the niche void fill business will be funded from Pro-Pac’s existing cash and debt facilities.
Pro-Pac’s CEO, Brandon Penn, said “he was pleased to add a further environmentally friendly product to the portfolio.
Space Pac has an annual turnover of around $1.5 million.
The move comes just weeks after Pro-Pac acquired Sydney based safety product supplier Medrite Australia
Announcing the deal with Medrite, Pro-Pac said the business complements its existing PPE and safety product business.
Food Magazine has contacted Pro-Pac to find out if any jobs will be lost in the merger, and how it will impact production, but calls have not been returned.
