Processing, packing and value-adding at AUSPACK 2017

Haver & Boecker Australia will present its entire suite of technology owners when it exhibits at AUSPACK 2017.

As the subsidiary of Germany-based Haver & Boecker, a leading developer and manufacturer of processing and packing technology for the food, minerals, chemicals, cement and building materials industries, the company offers innovative, efficient and high quality technology along the entire value adding chain of bulk material handling.

Its suite of technology brands includes:

Behn and Bates – the specialist in the foodstuffs sector, provides filling and packaging technology for food, animal feed and pet food. The brand includes packaging machines for any type of bag and for manual or automatic operations.

Newtec Bag Palletizing – which offers innovative palletising technology. The challenge for the palletising specialist is the production of clean and compact filled bags that is in precision harmony with the upstream packing process. Customers receive end-of-line solutions with throughputs of 300 to 5,000 bags per hour for most markets.

Ibau hamburg – which supplies worldwide proven advanced silo technology and economic silo systems, silo conversions, terminals, carriers, ship unloaders, all relevant components and a spare part service.

W.S. Tyler – which provides technology solutions for screening, washing and pelletising, along with a complete line of engineered screen media and complementary services like vibration analysis.

Feige Filling – the specialist for liquids including uncritical, foaming, explosive or flammable products. It provides customers with appropriate filling technologies for container sizes ranging from 0.5kg to 3,000kg.

Haver Automation – which offers innovative automation solutions and management systems for cement, building materials, chemical, mineral processing and food manufacturing plants.

In addition to its technology showcase, Haver & Boeker Australia will host the CEO from Haver & Boeker Germany, Dr Reinhold Festge, who will be available to discuss with clients’ ‘Industry 4.0’ technologies and how these automation and communication systems can optimise plant performance.

Technological innovations in the packing sector will also be the topic of a presentation to be delivered by Behn+Bates specialist Jonas Komitsch at the event on March 7th. The presentation – “Industrie 4.0 – Integrated Inspection as Part of Modern Packaging Technologies” – will look at integrated inspection capability and how it can improve efficiencies and quality.
