Following five years in partnership with Cadbury Schweppes, Red Bull Australia has announced that it will take over sales and distribution for Red Bull Energy Drink from 1 January, 2009.
Red Bull’s decision to bring sales and distribution in-house will enable the company to take back control over its products.
Red Bull is the global market leader, available in over 140 countries, and enjoying strong brand recognition around the world.
Success for the energy drink category in Australia has mirrored that of the global trend, and since its launch in Australia in 1999, Red Bull has significantly contributed to the growth of this category.
