Secure ‘early bird’ pricing: AUSPACK 2022 Leaders Forum tickets on sale

Leaders Forum

Tickets are now on sale for the AUSPACK 2022 Leaders Forum.

Karolina Rodriguez, marketing manager for Exhibitions and Trade Fairs, said the “super early bird” special, which opened on 4 March and runs until 18 March, was off to a great start, with people taking advantage of the 20 per cent discount early on. A 10 per cent discounted “early bird” will then run from 19 March to 15 April, after which tickets will be full price.

“Super early bird tickets are excellent value at just $680 for one day and $1,200 for two days, in person, and even less at $550 and $945, for one and two days respectively, online,” Rodriguez said.

“We have the two options so those who are at the exhibition can also take advantage of the various networking opportunities, including over meals; while those who may not be able to – or choose not to – attend onsite can still benefit from the brilliant line-up of speakers.”

The Leaders Forum runs over the middle two days, from 18-19 May, co-located with AUSPACK at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

“We’re also seeing good use of the exhibitor and product directories, both of which are now live for AUSPACK 2022, with people planning their AUSPACK visit before they get there to make the most of their time,” Rodriguez said.

She reminded people to visit the Solutions Theatres, which will give visitors in-depth overviews of technology, solutions and strategies; the array of new zones (IT & Services, Processing Equipment, Packaging and Packaging Materials, and Packaging Machinery); and take advantage of the many networking opportunities. Tickets to the APPMA Awards of Excellence, on 18 May, where winners of the expanded awards categories will be announced will also be on sale soon via the AUSPACK website.

Perfect Automation will have its sustainable, SMART technology on display, demonstrating its workable solutions in answering the call for environmental change in the packaging sector.

Exhibitor anticipation strong

Stretch-wrapper pioneer and expert in case and tray-handling equipment, Lantech Asia Pacific (Stand B045), is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2022. Lantech will have its Lean technology on display at AUSPACK, including Load-Seeking Clamp, pallet grip, Metered Film Delivery and Load Guardian Technology.

The Load Guardian Technology is Lantech’s patented control system that creates, maintains and delivers the right containment force for safe-to-ship loads every time. It minimises operator interaction and eliminates the guess work for stretch wrapping any load configuration.

Perfect Automation (Stand B070), will have sustainable, SMART technology on display, demonstrating its workable solutions in answering the call for environmental change in the packaging sector.

ProMessa, a supplier of fresh meat products to supermarkets in the Netherlands, has achieved a 70 per cent reduction in plastics with an Omori Flow Wrapper.

The change benefits the environment, while the style of packaging also allows for extended shelf-life plus the added bonus of reduced transportation load, in terms of both the packaging material and the packaged end products. This means ProMessa has been able to reduce its overheads with transport movements, material costs, energy

costs and running costs. Using Omori sealing technology, the flow packs are encased in a strong barrier protection film and allow for longer shelf life and reduced food wastage.

Rodriguez encouraged people to keep an eye on the AUSPACK 2022 website, as more speakers continue to be announced for the Leaders Forum.

AUSPACK 2022 will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, 17-20 May 2022. Please visit www.auspack.com.au for more information.
