The Safety Institute of Australia has released more details on the speaker program for the 2009 Safety In Action Conference.
Among the speakers will be Barry Sherriff, who will talk about his experiences on the National Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Review Panel as well as John Merritt from WorkSafe Victoria.
Overall, there will be 60 local and international speakers addressing 12 management themes, from risk management to workplace wellness.
The conference will also feature practical sessions, interactive events and workshops.
It will run from 31 March to 2 April 2009 at the Melbourne Convention Centre.
The 60th anniversary of the Safety Institute of Australia will also be marked by the event.
